Lost 33 lbs and 5 inches off of his Waist
I have struggled with weight my entire life. I have purchased gyms memberships, been on various “fad” diets, and have worked with several personal fitness trainers, but it always resulted in limited, short-term success.
Since joining Sault Fitness in August 2016 and working with Mike, I have finally achieved long term success. I have lost 33 pounds and 5 inches off of my waist and, as a result, I am no longer taking blood pressure and cholesterol medicine.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and stays focused on challenging me. Mike provides an intense workout which he modifies to keep up with my progress. For the first time in my adult life I look forward to working out and am seeing true results. Joining Sault Fitness and working with Mike were the best decision I have made for my health.
In early May of this year I joined Sault Fitness with a couple of simple objectives. I wanted to loss weight and to improve my fitness level.
Within three months I had lost almost 37 pounds and vastly improved my fitness level by participating in twice weekly personal training sessions with Justin Simmons and a weekly group class taught by Justin or Jared. Following the nutrition program, even the stage 1 diet which is the most restrictive, was easier than I thought and the results were pretty dramatic. I have continued with Sault Fitness and lost more weight and am within a few pounds of my college weight of 34 years ago. My Primary Care Physician indicated that I could discontinue the couple of medications he had prescribed for slightly high cholesterol and blood pressure as a result of my improved fitness. Tests during a recent routine physical exam showed results my doctor had not seen since I was in my thirties. Not bad for a guy approaching 57. I can’t say enough about what Sault has done to help improve my overall wellbeing.
I began training at Sault Fitness in September 2016, knowing that I needed to make some lifestyle changes. At age 72, I am amazed at how well I am feeling today…
When I began working with Mike, it was not about the physical looks of working out. Rather I began with Sault in hopes of being able to play with my young grandkids. Today, with the support of Mike, I am able to easily play on the floor and get up with no assistance. My daily routines have improved, as balance and mobility is not so difficult. I am now able to experience all the enjoyments in life. I can play with my grandkids and have even started to cycle outdoors.
I could not be happier that I took the initiative to begin working at Sault Fitness. Mike has created customized programs that work for me, each challenging and unique to meet my fitness goals.
Jared and I began working together on February 1, 2013. That day I walked into the studio an overweight, out of shape, unhealthy, low self esteem guy. Jared Asked me what my goals were. They were to lose weight, lean out, get healthy & in-shape. What connected me with Jared that day was he said we can do this together. Since then, Jared & I started on my quest to reach those goals.
Jared Fleurent is the most professional, knowledgeable, motivated trainer I have ever worked with. I am so grateful to the hard work, support, encouragement I got from Jared. From the beginning and continued on. He has challenged me to push further and always keeps the routine fresh. Jared helped me reach goals that I never thought I would reach. Since I began with Jared, I lost & have kept off 45lbs, I went from a size 38 waist pants to my present size 32 waist pants. I have run road races, trained & completed 2 triathlons, swam 1.4 mile ocean swim fundraisers. Jared encouraged me & helped me train along the way. He created custom programs for me to continue to train at home or on the road. This helped me to stay focus and not to lose momentum. Jared would check in on me the days I would not train with him to see my progress. I admire Jared greatly for his dedication to his profession, his knowledge, his passion & his quest for making healthy choices. What I always appreciated about Jared is that he treated me with great respect.
If you have the opportunity to train with Jared. You will see he will get results form you that you did not know you could achieve. That’s what makes training with Jared so amazing.

I joined Sault approximately 6 months ago and am thrilled with the results! I’ve lost 22 pounds (and counting!) along with many inches. My energyy level has improved as well. In addition, my doctor is thrilled that my once high cholesterol level is now in the excellent range.
A special thank you to my trainer Justin Simmons for his expert guidance and patience during my workout sessions.

Recently I was asked how I am and my response was I am better than I have been in 10 years! In fact, I am healthier, have more stamina, and more energy than I did in July. I attribute the difference to starting to work with Jared at Sault Fitness this past August. Jared met me where I was physically and mentally and helped me to find a way that has worked. Overtime, I have noticed changes. Simple things like being able to stand for a longer periods of time, not to mention always not being passed by the mall walkers. The suitcase easily goes in the overhead on the plane. My physician is pleased with dietary changes that have led to weight loss and decreased cholesterol numbers. I am down two dress sizes and that adds to looking and feeling better. I still have a ways to go but these milestones remind me of what has been accomplished. Jared has helped me find a way to achieve all of this. He starts you out with a strong plan. He continually encourages through the inevitable lapses that come with everyday life. He also adjusts for the periodic aches and pains of aging and gets me not to give in to it. The individual attention has made all of the difference and quite frankly has helped me be accountable and motivated.
If you are looking for more than a gym or tired of trying to do it yourself without results, I can highly recommend Jared. His balanced advice and counsel has made all the difference.
You still have to do the work but Jared is a great partner to help you achieve YOUR goals.
